I created House of AUM over nine years ago with the dream to have a space where people could gather to connect to their body to grow spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally. I wanted to provide a container of support that was comforting, clean, and nurturing, and teach yogic and astrology tools to assist people on their path to self discovery, empowerment, and happiness. I also wanted to provide a home for other teachers to share their skills, gifts, and wisdom.
Almost a decade later, now more than ever, we are still deeply committed to this work. Time and time again we are blown away by the power of these practices and the people who show up to take part in them.
As skilled yoga teachers, we provide and instruct beautiful sequences of poses and breathwork for specific purposes and results. For our students, this releases tense muscle tissue, frees up space around the heart, massages organs, calms the nervous system, and more. Daily we get to witness these things happening. What an honor it is to hold this sacred space for people to process, integrate, and heal.
Additionally, the level of soulful connection that happens through the dialogue created during our readings, workshops and training experiences is another golden gift of AUM. As lifetime students ourselves, we are constantly acquiring knowledge on all the things that we provide in order to enrich our own lives and to share what we’ve learned with others. Everyone who sits with us gains something when working through timely, applicable, healing content that is curated by the spiritual teacher to assist each person as they walk their individual path. We do this work together. We talk to each other, share our stories, and connect in heartfelt ways. It’s so necessary in times like these. I’m so proud that we can do this. It’s real and intimate and I love it so very much.
